One more for the Glass Paintings collection. This was also painted during the College days , Copper Metallic paint gives a metal feeling to the whole work , the Finer details was added using a Felt tip Permanent Marker.I did not use this technique after this for some odd reason .So as far as my Glass Paintings Goes, its a very unique work.

An Engineer at Heart ..

Recently I stumbled on the works this kid from malawi William Kamkwamba. The story struck a chord in me on one of the most important sense of duty that I have always strived to live up to ..To honour the noble way of an Engineer ,what it takes to be a good engineer . A degree from a top school is not a necessity to change the way the world around you works .We need to have it in our hearts.I will not Elaborate on this The Ted talk by this kid says what ever I want to say in this regard....Be the change you want to see in this world.

Hafez,some food for thought

For all the fellow lonely souls who are wondering why me ....

Don't surrender your loneliness
So quickly.
Let it cut more deeply.
Let it ferment and season you
As few human
Or even divine ingredients can.

Today I breached 2500 views on My Flicker

Photography has been keeping me occupied lately on a personal Front .I had a faint idea that I had the Eye but It took lot of thinking to actually get into it.
Today I will take this moment to recollect my reservations and how I convinced myself to do some things in the regard to photography.

Well the first time I experimented with Digicam was in college , Back then it was a novelty of sorts.Very Expensive and not exactly under the reach of an Engineering student like me .I dont even have any relatives in US or UK who would expose me to this kind of technology. The first encounter was thanks to two of my friends in College Karthikeyan aka 'Lala' and NaraGirish aka 'Mama'.These were the guys who first showed me this tech. The Glass paintings that me and my roomie suresh did when we were in college was one of the first things that I photographed using a Digicam(thanks to mama).

Then I got a 5 MP canon powershot in the second year of my career. It was robust and did its job.But I was wondering how I can take the snaps that people take .Photography is an Expensive Hobby(in fact it still is ).When my powershot almost died on me, i decided that I will buy a camera.Initially I had a point and shoot in mind but then Ravi my college roomate who was very much into photography inspired me .His Flickr link is hyperlinked here.
I decided to get a basic DSLR for myself and see if in a year I learn and still have that passion will go for more .I Decided on a Rebel Xs.Its a good basic dslr for people who want to experiment with Digital photography.

Based on my Constraints and Interests ...I decided that I would concentrate on Potraits and Food Photography...
My Flciker link will give a better idea of what I keep doing .
