Oil Painting:Pilot

Hello folks , Most of my Close buddies know that I sketch some thing in my scribbling notes from time to time.Smitten by the Renaissance Art Bug, I decided that I will try some oil painting. I am not even a novice(some thing below that is my understanding ....in this new medium ).Surprisingly it started out more easily than I expected it to be.Certainly not for the Clean guys. You stink of solvent for a day after painting and please don't try it in your rooms.A well ventilated veranda or balcony would be very ideal.Tried one scenery and one expression art. Waiting for some good photos of the same to be made(my camera spoils the image with a flash..).Please feel free to comment on these. As for interested Folks please do drop in tips and tricks that you have learned from your hands at oil painting.

Babylon 5

Hello science Fiction fans , As I am one among you, I felt that I should write about this Sci Fi series.
After watching all seasons of Babylon 5,I felt this was the one of the best classics in science Fiction from a yonder time.Created by J. Michael Straczynski ,whom I knew from my long time favourite Spiderman comics, this series is one of the best science fiction works of all times.Spread across five seasons and 110 episodes , it took me some time in watching the Full series.But definitely was worth the time in all Aspects.Though the technology shown in series , special effects are not impressive by todays standards. It would have been commendable in its broadcast years(1993 to 1998).Sci fi fans , dont miss it for the world...;)(no pun intended )

Connections by AR Rehman

The Latest Album by A R Rehman is Connections. As usual, like others I started with the Jiya se Jiya video and then started listening to the rest of the songs. I liked the album a lot . The silent invocations are all very soothing. Kural is my favorite of all track.Its definitely one of his best works so far.

Reconciliation by Benazir Bhutto

I don't know if this book is going to be read by any Pakistani .But I feel its a must read for any true patriotic Indian.This books Shows the state of the World affairs from a Pakistani's View .I am simply amazed at the point that she states saying the current state of Pakistan is actually having an unexpected Indian Contribution. It also says more about how USA failed the region as a whole by supporting a Military Regime in Pakistan and making ,the then Pro Soviet India , an enemy of the state .

If Any Indian is wondering why Pakistan has such bitter feelings towards India, this book might explain some of the Answers.

Why do we fall in love ....again and again

Here we are all of us,basically alone , seperate creatures circling each other , all searching for that slightest hint of a real connection.
some look at the wrong places , some just give up hope thinking in their minds that there is nobody out there for them.
But all of us keep trying , over and over again ....why ?
Because we hope that once in a while ....once in a while two people meet and then there is that special spark ,expressed as
"He is handsome" or "she is beautiful"....may be thats all we see and feel at first .....but when we fall in love ...thats is when two souls become one
yes , we understand that it is logically impossible for two objects or confronting thought to co exist ...
But whats important is that we still we try...even after the pain and hurt we need to endure upon rejection...we try hoping to get closer ..... hoping for a miracle ...the miracle of love .....


This is an interesting piece of thought ....that I came across in a series Bones . I liked it ...Shows what hope and love is ....

My First step

Hello folks ,
guess this is it ...after a long thought about what I am doing in this lifetime so far , I decided that I will Pen my thoughts(Rather ironically type my thoughts would be the honest version...;) ) for my reference and for people who share similar views on life .
I am hoping little from this experiment ....but time will tell.
